Functions:
It can convert a bunch of photo, mp3 (optional) and lyric files (optional) into:
1. an animated PNG slideshow with "wipe" transition effects.
2. a CSS decorative gallery page with a slideshow applet.
3. an executable slideshow file and slideshow video (through mencoder)
Features:
1. Multiple mp3s as music accompaniment.
2. Displaying lyric when playing mp3
3. Fade, Wipe, Zoom and other transition effects
4. Text captions on image
5. Built-in image filters and animation effects
6. CSS decorative gallery template
7. Batch image resizing
8. A built-in http server that can serve the generated album on your own PC
Memory Requirement:
1. 128MB (if you launch the slideshow application from the generator, another 64MB free memory is required)
Free Hard Disk Space:
1. 30MB for temp files
2. 2GB for video conversion (optional)
CPU requirement:
1. CPU with float point processor is recommended
2. 1.5Ghz or higher for the standard 640x480 slideshow
3. Please use 480x360 or smaller size if your CPU frequency is below 1Ghz,
Software Requirement:
1. J2SE 6 or higher is required.
2. You can use J2SE 6 Update 10 to reduce the start-up time and avoid well-known browser freeze problem,
Video Generating (Optional):
1. If you wish to generate slideshow video, mencoder (part of the command-line version of Mplayer) must be installed. The directory of mencoder's binary file must be added into the environment variable "PATH".
Components:
Jtvmaker consists of the following components:
1. Slideplay: a free gallery page template (Open source, GPL)
2. Jtvplayer: A slideshow applet (free for non-commercial)
3. Tomahawk: A general-purpose batch file processing applet which serves as the base of jtvmaker's GUI (Open source, GPL)
4. the Generator can be further divided into 3 parts (Open source, GPL):
1. Apng (animated png) generator
2. Album (gallery page) generator
3. Slideshow generator
